Terms of Service

Welcome to SponsorPal. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SponsorPal website, application, and AI-assisted job search tools provided by SponsorPal ("SponsorPal," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using SponsorPal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SponsorPal. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information during registration and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately at manan.vashist@gmail.com.

3. Acceptable Use

SponsorPal is designed to help individual job seekers find opportunities and tailor their applications. You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, extract, or resell job data, public visa data, or any other content provided on the platform.
  • Abuse, reverse-engineer, or excessively overload our AI generation features (e.g., using automated bots to generate content).
  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose or to upload malicious code.
  • Share your account credentials with third parties.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Acceptable Use terms.

4. Strategy Lab and Payments

SponsorPal offers paid features through "Strategy Lab," a subscription billed monthly or annually.

Beta: On this build, choosing Basic or Pro does not charge you. "Enable Autopay" records the plan. PayPal is not charged. When charging exists, the renewal terms below apply.

  • Plans: Strategy Lab is offered on two tiers, Basic and Pro, each at its own monthly or annual price shown on our Pricing page. Every tool a plan includes is written to the same standard on both tiers; the tiers differ only in which tools are included, described on Pricing. You can change your tier at any time in Billing; the change applies immediately, and the difference is reflected on your next invoice.
  • Free Trial: A new subscription starts with a 3-day free trial, on the tier and billing period you choose. Starting the trial requires enabling PayPal Autopay.
  • Automatic Renewal: After the trial, your chosen plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period and is charged to your PayPal account until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time in Billing. Cancelling turns off Autopay; Strategy Lab stays available until the end of the period already paid for, and no further charges are made.
  • Refund Policy: Charges for a billing period that has started are non-refundable.
  • Fair Use: Unlimited jobs. Fair use applies: if one account's use in 30 days reaches about twice what our heaviest real users need, new runs pause until the window moves on. This applies to every tier and protects the service for all subscribers; it is not a limit on the number of jobs you can work on.

5. Disclaimers and Limitations of the Service

Please read this section carefully, as it explains the limits of what SponsorPal can guarantee:

  • Not legal or immigration advice: SponsorPal is not a law firm and does not give legal or immigration advice. Filing history is not a prediction of a future visa decision.
  • No Job Guarantee: SponsorPal is a tool to assist in your job search. We do not guarantee that you will receive job offers, interviews, or visa sponsorship by using our service.
  • Recruiter and referrer addresses: Pro looks these up through Hunter.io. They are drafts for you to copy. SponsorPal does not send them.
  • Job listings: Some listings come from Adzuna and are marked "Jobs by Adzuna".
  • AI-Generated Content: The cover letters, messages, and insights generated by our AI tools (Strategy Lab) are drafts based on the data you provide. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of all AI-generated content before sending it to an employer.
  • Visa Sponsorship Data: The employer visa sponsorship data (such as H-1B and PERM filing history) displayed on our platform is sourced from public U.S. government records. It is provided strictly for informational purposes. A company's past filing history is not a guarantee that they will sponsor your specific visa or that their policies have not changed.

6. Intellectual Property

The SponsorPal platform, including its code, design, features, and aggregated public data structures, is owned by SponsorPal. You retain all ownership rights to the raw resume data you upload to the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SponsorPal and its affiliates, directors, or employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the service exceed the total amount you paid to SponsorPal in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SponsorPal at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms. You may also stop using our services at any time. To request account termination and data deletion, please contact manan.vashist@gmail.com.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of these Terms and, if necessary, via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in New Jersey, USA.
